  1. I’ve seen 17 of the 23 films on the chart. I thought that was impressive until I saw Bruce and Dan had seen 20 each.

My favorites are – Desperado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, From Dusk Till Dawn, The Faculty, Alita, Machete 1 & 2, Sin City 1 & 2, Planet Terror and Kill Bill 2.

Looking at the charts the top rated film directed by Rodriguez is Sin City. Spy Kids tops the UMR and Alita is his biggest grosser but not his most profitable film I would guess.

    Good stuff Bruce. Vote Up!

  2. HI MR 20: Unfortunately I have never seen any of the 17 movies which Robert made as an actor and in fact apart from the 4 Spy Kid films which I watched with my grandchildren your wooden spoon guy has seen just one of the movies in your chart – The Faculty; but that one has fond memories for me: I rented it out from a Blockbuster video library when I visited Atlanta in the US back in 1999. Ah nostalgia!

    Other trivia about Robert:

1/$Reported net worth of $60 million

2/42 awards and 32 noms most if not all for work as producer/director etc.

3/4 new projects in pipeline: one completed/one at pre-production stage/ and 2 announced. The latter 2 include a TV animated series about the legendary Zorro of which Robert is credited as the executive-producer and ‘creator’.

  3. I’ve seen 20 of his films. The ones I haven’t seen are Red 11, Ugly Dolls and the biggie We Can Be Heroes.

    1. Hey Dan. Thanks for the visit and the tally count. We are actually tied with 20 Robert Rodriguez movies seen. I have not seen Red 11, El Mariachi or the Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Girl. We Can Be Heroes is the sequel to Sharkboy. It was such a popular movie on Netflix that a third chapter is coming soon. That being said, it was pretty weak. Good stuff as always.
