  2. Are romanic comedies a dying genre? When I was updating this page I looked at my 2019 page and saw very few rom coms. And the ones I found did not do very well…the Longshot being the one that scored the best. And that one did not crack this Top 100. Then I looked at this weekend’s Valentine movies in theaters…you got Sonic The Hedgehog (computer animated kids movie) Fantasy Island (horror spin of classic telelvision show), The Photograph (a drama about love told in many stories) and Downhill (a Will Ferrell movie based on an international film that was far from funny). Where is Maid in Manhatten? Where is Notting Hill? I think this genre is in serious trouble. And now I start my 14 hour school day.
