Ryan Reynolds Movies

Want to know the best Ryan Reynolds movies?  How about the worst Ryan Reynolds movies?  Curious about Ryan Reynolds’s box office grosses or which Ryan Reynolds movie picked up the most Oscar® nominations? Need to know which Ryan Reynolds movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences and which ones got the worst reviews? Well you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.

Ryan Reynolds is a Canadian actor who has been starring in movies since 2002. His IMDb page shows 85 acting credits since 1991. This page will rank Ryan Reynolds movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information. Television shows, shorts, cameos and movies that were not released in North American theaters were not included in the rankings.

Drivel Part: (That is what my wife calls this part of the page).   A few months ago, while visiting my wife’s family in Alabama, my wife and I were talking to my sister-in-law’s boyfriend. Phil. Somehow the conversation turned to this website.  As is often the case…. we asked who his favorite actor was.  A good percentage of the time when someone answers that question, we already have a page on that actor.  My wife opened up her I-Pad, preparing to show Phil his favorite actor’s page. However when Phil said…”Ryan Reynolds……I shook my head no… the wife closed the I-Pad…we could only tell him that we take requests.  So…..fast forward to a few days ago.  My mother-in-law called and was telling me that she had just seen a great movie.  She highly recommended that I watch Woman in Gold as soon as possible.  Yesterday, I got a chance to watch and really enjoy Woman in Gold. Turns out my mother-in-law has good tastes in movies.   Woman In Gold might have Reynolds’ best performance in a movie yet.  So, with Reynolds’ outstanding performance fresh in my head, and the fact that I am really struggling with an Orson Welles page….I figured it was time to finally write a Ryan Reynolds page.

    1. Hey Flora…thanks for checking in. Ryan Reynolds finally has a massive box office hit…as Deadpool exploded this weekend. I am happy for him….as many of his movies have not fared very well. Thanks for the comment and the visit.

  1. I like Reynolds so I was surprised at how many of his films I haven’t seen. Buried is a film that people have recommended and I’ve been meaning to watch. Self/Less might be interesting from what I’ve read. I did watch The Nines again recently and what a strange film that was.
I have seen just 13 of the 30 films you’ve listed. I liked him as Wade Wilson aka Deadpool in Wolverine, looking forward to the movie Deadpool next year, have you seen the trailer?
Green Lantern did not do well with audiences and critics and I hear they will be rebooting it again with a different actor and hopefully a better story line and villain. The comic book is very popular.
    Nicely done Bruce. Voted Up.

    1. Hey Steve…..thanks for checking out my Reynolds page. Buried got great reviews….but that is not a movie that I will be checking out anytime soon. I can handle vampires, werewolves, evil gnomes, psycho killers with chainsaws….but a movie about being buried alive…count me out….even with great reviews. I have seen The Nines too….it is indeed a strange movie….with a very unusual an unexpected ending.
My tally is 21. Doubt we get a Flora tally here. His “new” Deadpool movie looks very promising. His Green Lantern experience was a bad one all around…the end result…and the actual process of making the movie. Wow….that is already getting a reboot? Thanks for your movie thoughts on Ryan Reynolds.

      1. I was getting ready to write something on Reynolds when I noticed I had already commented. I thought it was a new page. 🙂

Deadpool looks like being a huge hit. I’m glad. This should make up for Green Lantern. I’ve read some of the Deadpool comic books and they were hilarious. Looking forward to seeing the film some time this week.

        1. Hey Steve…yep this is an older page….when the page started showing up on the trending list….I figured I should include Deadpool . Speaking of Deadpool….I will be seeing that movie tomorrow. Really looking forward to it. Thanks for the re-visit.

    1. Hey Mr. Wilder…..glad you could stop by and check out my Ryan Reynolds page. I think you make a good point about Reynolds.
