  1. Saoirse (I can never say her name right) is not on the 2020 Oracle of Bacon Top 1000 list (give her a break she’s only 26). These are the actors on the list she has appeared with. Have you ever heard of the picture with Sir. Michael and has 2 other Oscar winners in it?

I can’t wait to do Gene Autry.

    1. Hey Dan. Thanks for sharing this information on Saoirse Ronan. Do not feel too bad, not only can I not pronounce her name, but I have having serious issues spelling her name correctly…lol. I suspect when she retires she will have a nice spot on the Oracle list. As for Watching, Waiting…it is a documentary short (3 minutes according to IMDb). Mark Strong gets the Oracle honors..as he has appeared in 3 movies with her. 18 Oscar winning co-stars already? That is an excellent total. I am about to head to your Autry comments. Good stuff as always.

  2. I saw 5 including 4 of top 5. i have little women on hold at library. no 10s no 9s, no favorites. I am deeply impressed with her acting ability. thanks for the page bruce. great that she makes the new book.

      1. Hey bob cox…..yet another mistake by me…..I am thinking I am trying to do to much. For example…..this week….school prep, 4 days of teaching, hours of training for school, running a fantasy football league draft, running a baseball fantasty league as we reach the playoffs, finishing the book, keeping UMR current, WoC and I are adding an office in our downstairs master bedroom and having bone graf mouth surgery this morning. This does not even include helping our girls with their classes this week.

Ignore all that complaining….you are right…3 of her nominations did not make the table…efforting that right now. Good catch.

    1. Hey bob cox. Glad you found your requested Saoirse Ronan page. Tally count: 17 for me, 8 for Steve and 4 for you. I agree with you 100%, her acting skills are very impressive…I suspect one of these she will get an Oscar win. Thanks as always for the feedback.

  3. I’ve seen 8 of Saoirse Ronan’s films, favorites are – Hanna, Atonement, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Host and The Secret World of Arrietty.

I’ve also seen – Mary Queen of Scots (the original was better), The Lovely Bones (too depressing) and Loving Vincent (an interesting experiment but all the chit chat just bored me).

    Good stuff Bruce. Vote Up!

    1. Hey Steve. As always thanks for checking out our latest page. I have seen 17 or 68% of the movies listed here. I have seen all of your favorites….with Hanna being among mine as well. Interesting that you enjoyed The Host….it did not fare well in any statistical category. I have also seen all of your “others:” Loving Vincent is visually stunning but horribly boring…lol. Good stuff.

  4. Saoirse Ronan was one of the last people to make it into our new book…Ranking Today’s Movie Stars….but she ended up in the book and ranked 288th of 380 movie stars.
