  • Sort Star Wars movies by movie titles and trailers for those movies
  • Sort Star Wars movies by the stars of the movie
  • Sort Star Wars movies by adjusted domestic box office grosses using current movie ticket cost
  • Sort Star Wars movies by yearly domestic box office rank

Excellent work Bruce, the eternal question for all geeks, Star Trek or Star Wars? Can’t we like both? I’ve seen them all and I own them all and I’ve written hubs on each movie.

I’ve always been a Trekkie at heart but I prefer the first Star Wars movie (1977) to any of the Star Trek movies.

I’m glad the Cogerson Movie Score lists Star Wars at no.1 and it’s great to see the Star Trek reboot at no.3 I really enjoyed it.

The Original Star Trek TV series of the 1960’s remains my no.1 favourite TV show.

So you see I enjoy both sci-fi universes. I win! 🙂

Hey Steve….I like both of them…..I think they should do one together….imagine Han Solo and Mr. Spock arguing …..and Han fighting over Leia with Captain Kirk……lots of great possibilities…..Darth Vadar and Khan plotting to take out both groups….it would be like The Avengers 2……lol.

Glad you are sort of on board with the rankings….I included adjusted worldwide box office grosses for the first time….Star Wars has been one incredible money making machine.

Thanks for the re-visit and the votes….I am really glad I decided to remodel this hub versus deleting this page.

I’m not going to lie, I was never into Star Wars. The movies were so long that I never felt like watching them at all. But I did know Star Trek better since it aired in new episodes and in syndication. And I did see the 2009 movie. But I still don’t understand what it all means. I guess I need to study some cling-on blogs!

Hey Alecia….thanks for checking out this remodeled hub…..especially since you are not much of a Star Wars fan…..I loved parts 1 and 2 but really did not like the rest of the series…..although part 6 was not too bad. As for StarTrek…..Captain Kirk has been a presence in my house for a very longtime….my mom used to date Shatner back in the early 1950s in Montreal….so she has been a fan of his for many many moons. I love the last line in your comment…..the Trekkies will be upset though….lol.

Star wars beats Star Trek hands down. I do have to admit that the last Star Trek movie was pretty awesome though.

Hey daskittlez…..thanks for visiting one of my oldest hubs….I think the new Star Trek movies could end up being very highly rated on these charts….but I agree with you that Star Wars beats Star Trek hands down….thanks for the visit and the comment.
