  1. “Rhapsody in Blue” was a biography of composer George Gershwin and was played by Robert Alda in the lead role.

    1. Hey Anonymous….at the time of publication…we did not have a page on Charles Coburn, we now do…..so we added him and Robert Alda to the UMR co-star column…dumping Smith and Leslie…neither of which has an UMR page.

  2. “Duffy’s Tavern”: Ed Gardner played Archie (Duffy was never there) on the radio and in this movie. Betty Hutton and Paulette Goddard had walk-ons along with other Paramount stars of the time.

      1. Hey Anonymous….we have UMR pages on 7 of the stars that appeared in Duffy’s Tavern…..their links are spread out through the pages….but Gardner did not bump any of them of the UMR Co-Star list.

  3. “Diamond Horseshoe”: then popular singer Dick Haymes was the male lead. Phil Silvers had a supporting role.

    1. Hey Anonymous….we have a page on Garrett….but no page on Silvers or Haymes…still…I dumped Silvers and added in Haymes.

    1. Hey Anonymous….at the time of the publication of this page…we did not have a Cornel Wilde page…at this time we do….but Vincent has a more lasting legacy than Wilde. Ultimately these links are to help people navigate the website. So in this case….no change was made.

    1. Hey Anonymous. Thanks for sharing all this information. Our UMR co-star link is not the Top billed person…but the people we have UMR pages on. That being said…I just put Donat in that column (1st with Kerr second).
