  1. Huge Vaughn fan. I am looking forward to the Internship as I think the Wilson/Vaughn screen team is one of the best going this days. Surprised he has been in so many movies, but then again the first time I noticed him was in the dreadful Psycho remake and that was a shocking 15 years ago. How can that be? Very nicely done my friend.

    1. Hey Shaun….thanks for the visit….longtime no talk to, I hope everything is going well. I have never seen Psycho the remake but I have never talked to anybody that liked the remake. I agree with you about the Wilson/Vaughn team being pretty solid. But don’t forget the Luke Wilson/Vince Vaughn team as well….as they appeared in Old School, and Anchorman.

  2. 30 movies? I’m shocked, I thought he only appeared in a handful of films. I have to check and see how many I’ve seen, hang on…

I’ve seen 14 Vince Vaughn films, a lot more than I expected. 9 from the box office 10 and 4 from the critics 10.

I haven’t seen Couples Retreat, Rudy, Into the Wild or Fred Claus, to name a few.

2 feet taller than Tom Cruise? hohoho, you mean Cruise can play a Hobbit without the need for special effects? 🙂

Another excellent job Bruce, keep em coming, is Milla next? Kate? Vincent Price? 🙂

    1. Hey Steve….thanks for the votes and the comment. I have seen 19 of the 30 movies listed. 9 out of 10 of the box office hits(The Cell is the missing one)….and 7 out of 10 on the critics list(Thumbsucker, Made and Return to Paradise being the missing ones).

Into the Wild is highly recommended….as well as Rudy….but I would ignore Couples Retreat(pains me to say because I really like Jason Bateman) and Fred Claus(a Xmas movie that does even keep the kids interested).

I could not resist the Cruise comment….as much as Vaughn is known for his tall height….Cruise is known for his small height…..and heard he was in the final running for The Hobbit….lol.

As for next? Milla could be interesting…..Vincent would be a challenge. Maybe Wahlberg or Tommy Lee Jones.

  3. I liked Vince Vaughn in Mr. & Mrs. Smith. He is not one of my favorite people. If I had a choice of watching him in a movie or someone else I would pick some one else. I was so surprised about the number of movies he has made already. It was an interesting PAGE though. Thanks for the information. Looking forward to more PAGES.

    1. Hey BERN1960…..I liked his role in Mr. and Mrs. Smith as well….it always reminded me of the Bill Murray role in Tootsie. He has indeed been a very busy man and will have three more movies in 2013. As always your comments and visit are greatly appreciated.

  4. I love Vince Vaughn. I have been fortunate enough to meet him once and I can tell you that he is one celebrity that has not let fame go to his head. As for his movies not sure I would rank Old School so low, as that is the Animal House of my generation. But it is hard to argue against the Top 5 as Wedding Crashers, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Dodgeball, The Break-Up and Lost World are favorites of mine.

Glad to see you did not forget Rudy. I imagine many people are not aware he was in that movie. As for the movies near the bottom of the rankings. I think people should see A Cool, Dry Place as it shows a side of Vince that he does not show very often on screen.

I am so glad I found this on ChimeIn thanks for posting it there. This makes me want to watch a Vince classic tonight.

    1. Glad you found my Vince Vaughn hub, Jennifer 1974. I agree with you about Old School….I was amazed how low it is rated on IMDB …as it seems to be a movie that is gaining more and more cult status as time goes by…..too bad they did not make an Old School 2…..but then again the director is busy making Hangover movies these days.

I will have to check out A Cool, Dry Place….I had never even heard of that movie before doing this hub…so thanks for the suggestion. Glad to see some Chimein people here.

    2. Hey Jennifer ….forgot to say on the other comment…..glad to see that Vince Vaughn was nice in person and that fame had not gone to his head.

  5. Vince has been a very busy actor. 30 movies in roughly 20 years. I have not been impresses with his latest movies, but maybe his new with Owen will bring him back in my mind.

    1. Hey Fay….thanks for the visit. I was surprised he has this many movies already. Looking at his best movies it looks like he was on fire from 2004-2007….with somewhat of a lull after 4 Xmas. I appreciate your comment.
