1. Elijah Jordan Wood was born January 28, 1981 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA
2. Elijah Wood got his first break in the music video for Paula Abdul’s “Forever Your Girl”, directed by David Fincher. His first movie exposure was in a minor role in 1989’s Back to the Future Part II.
3. Elijah Wood heard about the Lord of the Rings trilogy while filming The Faculty (1998). Immediately, he sensed that this was the chance of a lifetime. Director George Huang, a personal friend of Wood’s, filmed his audition tape for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. He shot the scene from different angles which were cut together for the video. They sent the video off to New Zealand for director Peter Jackson and a few months later, he got the part.
4. Each of the nine Lord of the Ring Fellowship members got the same tattoo: the number nine written in Elvish. Elijah’s is on his pelvic bone on the right side.
5. Elijah Wood filmed his role as Kevin in 2005’s Sin City in two days.

Hey Dan. Thanks for the trivia lists on Elijah Wood. He has been a very busy actor the last 30 years…..so I can see why he has such a high Oracle ranking. Lots of the LOR alumni have made three movies with him, but only Hugo Weaving can add another couple of movies for a total fo 5 with Frodo. As for the second list….27 Oscar winning co-stats is pretty high for an actor so young….at least pretty young…lol. Good stuff as always.
