      2. You might appreciate the origin of this page…earlier in the week….The Dan Patrick Radio Show was talking about Bill Pullman.
      3. I quickly put this page together…and sent the link to one of Dan Patrick’s “Danettes” and they shared the page on their twitter page…..that is why it has so many views already. I figured the out of country contributors would have no idea who I am talking about…when I mention Dan Patrick
      4. So poor Bill is moving down the list….seems he has been a lot more movies lately…..I think the beard and the grey in the beard is opening up even more roles to him
      5. I see Greg Collins has the most co-starring movies with Pullman…coming in at 4 movies.
      6. Second list is filled with actors that are no longer with us…..or actors that have seen much better days.
      7. 25 Oscar winning co-stars is pretty good….and I suspect that number will keep on rising.

Pullman is a tweener less box office success as a good lead, very successful as a good supporting actor. to appreciate him as a lead (good but not very good/great) see television’s the sinner, or lost highway, or last seduction, or your name here. I saw 13. 2 10s both favorites: independence day (over 1 billion adjusted world wide box office), and sleepless in seattle. 2 more favorites both 9s: a league of their own and the accidental tourist. hidden gem is lost highway ( an 8). Another hidden gem , in an effort to raise a dead movie, is wyatt earp. kevin Costner gets no respect once again sure it is an 8 and was put to shame by tombstone but worth seeing. Cogerson, keep up the good work. stick with UMRanking it is tremendously effective tool for ranking movies even if it misses on a few personal favorites. thanks for the share Stencho Poncho and PaulDee’s TripleChin . you both make good points about your personal favorites , just not supported by the UMR formula that takes personal favorites out of the ranking..

Hey bob…..I put this one together pretty quickly today….as Bill Pullman was briefly mentioned on a talk radio show I listen to…..I sent the link to one of the broadcasters…..and the next thing I know it quickly became the Top Trending page on the website….which is (a) pretty cool and (b) pretty surprising. I had planned on making it the New Page of the Day for Saturday…..probably still do that…..but it has already gotten over 1000 views.

      I have seen 35 of these movies…I enjoyed both Independence Day and Sleepless in Seattle as well. I have seen Accidental Tourist once…but that was almost 30 years ago…barely remember that one at all. Lost Highway….like almost all of that director’s movies is very confusing. As for Wyatt Earp….I agree it is a good western…..but it is not Tombstone…..which is a movie I re-watch pretty regularly. I once said Tombstone is the Marvel Universe version of the Gunfight at the O.K. Coral while Costner’s Wyatt Earp is the DC Universe version.

      Glad you like our ranking system…..over the years….I feel it has done a very good job of getting good movies to the top. And yes…sometimes the rankings do not make much sense…but luckily those times/pages are pretty rare. Good stuff as always.
