I would love to comment on Karl Maldon’s page, but there is no comment box yet. I don’t know if the page is still being tweaked or whether that is an oversight.
Hey Flora….it was an oversight. One of the “updates” years ago decided to move the default settings to “do not allow comments”….it was originally set to “allow comment”. I wish it was the old way…because sometimes I forget to hit the “allow comments” box…..it only takes a couple of seconds to do….but remembering to do it, does not always happen. Long way to say….The Karl Malden page now has a comment box, Thanks for the headsup.
This might come as a shocker to many but I didn’t know there was a UMR home page! [cue gasps] I always thought the index page was the main page and I have that bookmarked. I didn’t know there was a link hidden away in the banner at the top until a few seconds ago. Was it always there?
Hey Steve….yep….this has been here the whole time…..it has been viewed over half a million times…..over the years we have tweaked it….many many many times……now we are trying to make it fancy……not sure how that is going to work….but at least you now know it is out there…lol.
Whoa ho all this time and I didn’t think you bothered with a home page. Your fault you should have put the words Home or Home Page next to the other links at the top, like before ‘Site Index’. Many sites have the word ‘Home’ somewhere on the page. Sometimes right at the bottom of the page. And the link at the very top is easily missed, I’m the proof. 😉
My thoughts – a good idea adding pictures from the latest films and movie news at the top, it’s an attention grabber. Maybe links with photo or posters to your newest 4 or 6 pages somewhere underneath?
Hey Steve…..your suggestion of the arrows to other years is a great one…WoC and I were discussing it last night….now trying to find the best way to do that….as is the related pages…..your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The new format certainly highlights topics you want highlighted with those pictures and their titles under them. I like the current page, but it might be time for a change.
Thanks Flora….we have always used a “free theme”….figured it was time to purchase a theme that is better suited for us…..this is a test run…..final decision is yet to be made. Thanks for the feedback.
