  1. Thanks to Steve Lensman from England who emailed me a link to his latest youtube video of poster art of imdb ranked movies – this time of Gregory Peck.

    It is fantastic.

Too bad the art of movie posters is not the same as it once was.

    Again, thanks Steve.

    I loved it.

And thanks to Bruce aka Cogerson for creating this wonderful site.

    1. I’m glad you liked it Flora, thanks. And you’re right poster art today isn’t what it used to be, now it’s mostly a photo montage, where’s the artistry? Even the posters for the James Bond movies, which used to be spectacular, now just feature a photo of Daniel Craig staring at the camera. pfft.

  2. Has Steve Lensman completed his youtube video on Mr. Peck’s films re:
    poster art?

    I sent him an email.

But being that this is your homepage, I thought Steve would be more likely to see my question here as I do not know how often he checks his email.

    1. Hi Flora, I sent you an email a few minutes ago. I picked The Omen as his greatest movie, I hope you don’t mind?

      I’m keeding! 🙂

      1. Hey Steve….you mean The Omen did not knock off To Kill A Mockingbird for the Top Spot….I think you should go back and redo your rankings..lol.

        1. Bruce, I think you know which one of those two I’ve watched the most over the years, and it’s an Oscar winner too. 😉

          1. The joke here by the way is that I saw The Omen because I’m a Gregory Peck fan who wants to see all his films regardless of genre and barely got through it as it was frightening.

I am also a fan of Holden and want to see all his films, but I cannot bring myself to see The Omen II –

            meanwhile:

Steve is a fan of horror movies.

        1. Hermine is quickly leaving the area……lots of rain and some fallen branches but other than that I think we can get back to Labor Day activities.

          1. Glad to know. Hermine.

Makes me think of a joke about the name.

It isn’t Her storm- it’s mine.

Bad joke, but well, I was happy to hear you are safe and I felt like being silly.
