  1. 1/Greg is one of those rare thespians who in my opinion can master both drama and comedy. I enjoyed him in the movies The Gift/Sabrina /As Good as it Gets and You’ve Got Mail.

2/I also liked him very much in the 2011 mini-series The Kennedys in which he had the lead role of JFK. Also like Willis and Tom Selleck Greg did a guest spot in the popular TV sitcom Friends

3/Wikipedia highlights full details of 22 other TV productions in which he has appeared including the miniseries of Stephen King’s The Stand with James Marsden and Amber Heard scheduled for airing on 17 Dec this year.

4/Also in 2020 he has taken to the stage to play Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird at the Shubert theatre which I think is on Broadway. Dan will of course have noted that TWO Gregs have now played Atticus! AFI has designated Atticus the greatest movie hero of all time – Sorry McClane/sorry Riggs!

5/IMDB credits Greg with 13 acting awards and 20 noms; and he has a current reported net worth of $20 million. In the pipeline for him are (1) a big screen movie Dreamland a thriller with Gary Oldman and Armie Hammer at post production stage (2) a TV horror-comedy movie Shining Vale at with Courtney Cox at pre-production stage.

    “Voted Up!”

    1. Hey Bob…thanks for the feedback on Greg Kinnear. I agree he does well in both genres. He is the type of actor you rarely remember but when he pops up on screen, you know he well do well in the role. Good mini-review on his role as JFK. Good information on his television roles, his awards and his net worth.

Thanks for buying our second book. Sorry your order had issues. I look forward to your input on what you think about the book. Good stuff as always.

  2. British actor, Greg is from Indiana.

    1. Hey Dan. Surprised that Greg Kinnear is not in the Top 1000. I remember him when he hosted a show that gave a breakdown of soap operas on othe shows. I found he fun to watch….I guess somebody important did too, because he shortly started to appear in movies.

Not many multiple Oracle co-stars…so we will give Bruce Willis most frequent Oracle co-star with 2. Even though I see Marisa Tomei has 3 movies with him.

A nice amount of Oscar winning co-stars. I imagine that number will increase quickly with so many modern day co-stars. FYI He was another book subject that got a page after appearing in the book.

  3. I’ve seen 13 of the 41 films on the chart, favorites are – As Good as it Gets, Little Miss Sunshine (didn’t expect to like this one but I enjoyed it), Robots, Anchorman 2, We Were Soldiers, You’ve Got Mail and Mystery Men.

I still haven’t seen Sabrina, remake or original, it’s been on my to watch list for ages.

    Good stuff Bruce. Vote Up!

    1. Hey Steve. As always thanks for the feedback. Tally count: 36 for me, 13 for you. I have all of your favorites. I just rewatched Mystery Men a few weeks ago. As for Little Miss Sunshine, I liked it but did not love it. Maybe it has aged well, as I have not seen it since it first came out. As for both Sabrinas…they are entertaining but far from being great movies. I give you the edge to the Bogart version. Good stuff as always.

  4. With my school schedule getting so crazy I have had to treat the weekdays like I do when I am going on vacation….writing the pages in advance. Greg Kinnear was an entry in the new book…coming in at #304 (out of 380). So I figured I needed to get a page on him on the website.

I have seen 36 of the movies above…way more than I would have guessed. Favorites include Invincible, We Were Soldiers, What Planet Are You From, Brigsby Bear and As Good As It Gets.

    1. Wow. Even after spending three hours commenting back, still a long ways to go. Will continue to work my way back through recent pages sometime tomorrow as WoC has plans tomorrow for me. Would continue tonight but I can not keep my eyes open
