  1. Will always remember him as C.W. in Bonnie and Clyde. In the movie he was one of the few survivors. Beatty, Dunaway and Hackman bought the farm. In reality he was the first of the actors to pass away. Estelle Parsons at 92 is still going strong.

    1. Hey Scott…interesting point about him being the first Bonnie and Clyde alumni to pass while being one of the few to survive in the movie. Gene Wilder passed away a few years ago…but his was not one of the main 5 actors. Good to know Estelle Parsons is still going strong in her 90s….rest in peace Mr. Pollard.

  2. I first noticed him in The Andy Griffith show. He played Cousin Virgil. Around the same time he had a memorable role on a Star Trek episode. Not glad to hear this news. Thoughts and prayers.

    1. Hey Tamara….I do not remember either his role on the Andy Griffith Show, but I do remember his Star Trek role. I am right there with you….”not glad to her this news”. RIP.

    1. Hey Dehlic, he was probably one of the most unique looking actors around….and as you say…very authentic. I agree, it is a shame he did not make more movies. Good thoughts.

    1. Hey Robert….I enjoyed his supporting role in Roxanne as well. Thanks for checking out our Pollard tribute page. RIP.
