Ryan Gosling Movies

Ryan Gosling (1980-) is a Canadian actor, musician, and producer. He began his career as a child star on the Disney Channel’s Mickey Mouse Club. His IMDb page shows 42 acting credits from 1995 to 2017. This page will rank 23 Ryan Gosling movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information. Television shows, shorts, cameos and movies that were not released in North American theaters were not included in the rankings.

Drivel Part: (That is what my wife calls this part of the page).  So son number two (in my best Charlie Chan voice) called me the other day and excitedly told me that he and his girlfriend had just seen The Nice Guys.    He told me that the movie was awesome and that I needed to see it soon.  As we were finishing that call he suggested that a Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling UMR page would be pretty timely,  Well if he had been paying attention to the this website better…he would have known that we already have a Crowe page…..but we did not have a Gosling page….well no more…..welcome to our Ryan Gosling Movie Ranking Page.

Ryan Gosling Movies Can Be Ranked 6 Ways In This Table

The really cool thing about this table is that it is “user-sortable”. Rank the movies anyway you want.

  • Sort by Ryan Gosling movies by co-stars of his movies.
  • Sort Ryan Gosling movies by adjusted domestic box office grosses using current movie ticket cost (in millions)
  • Sort Ryan Gosling movies by yearly box office rank.
  • Sort Ryan Gosling movies how they were received by critics and audiences.  60% rating or higher should indicate a good movie.
  • Sort by how many Oscar® nominations and how many Oscar® wins each Ryan Gosling movie received.
  • Sort Ryan Gosling movies by Ultimate Movie Rankings (UMR) Score.  UMR Score puts box office, reviews and awards into a mathematical equation and gives each movie a score.
  • Use the search and sort buttons to make this page very interactive.

In The Ides of March with Clooney Ryan Gosling [who vaguely reminds me of the tennis player, Djokovic] gave a masterclass in acting. Old Hollywood would have known how to market such a talent; but I wonder if today’s movies system does. His latest, The Nice Guys with Russell Crowe, does not seem to be doing well at the box office.

Perhaps like Johnny Depp he will need to forsake quality acting and get a franchise like the Pirates one to consistently ring the box office tills.

Hey Robert Roy. I agree with you 100%…..I am not a Clooney fan at all….yet I was very impressed with The Ides of March. Yeah so far Gosling has not had a stand alone hit so far….The Notebook was an ensemble cast….and he was a baby when he made Remember the Titans…….those are his only 2 $100 million dollar movies. Maybe the new Blade Runner will be his Depp Pirates blockbuster that he is looking forward to. Thanks for the comment.

    Hi

The Ides of March is one of the best political thrillers I’ve ever seen. Both he and Clooney were brilliant.

Hey Chris. I agree with you 100%. I am not a George Clooney fan at all…..but I have to give him credit for that movie. It is indeed one of the best political thrillers ever!
