    1. Hey Flora. Thanks for checking out our Miles tribute. Tally count…Steve 8, me and you 5 and Bob with 4. I have seen three of the 5 that you have seen. I thought Midnight Cowboy was good but a little overrated….it has not aged well at all….granted it is now 50 years old. I enjoyed Farewell, My Lovely and Wall Street a lot. Always wanted to see Peter Falk in Murder, Inc. Good stuff….and even more thanks for returning after seeing our comment box was not set up. Rest in Peace Ms. Sylvia Miles.

  2. Thank you for doing this page on Sylvia Miles. She was a very talented actress and classy lady, who brought an old-time glamour and style to all her films. She was older when she had her real breakaway role in Midnight Cowboy and given Hollywood’s obsession with youth, she never got more important roles. However, she will always shine and illuminate every one of her films.
Rest in peace, Miss Miles. You are not forgotten.

    1. Hey Frank….glad you like our tribute page to Sylvia Miles. Sounds like you are a good fan of hers. Good point about her not being able to capitalize on the success of Midnight Cowboy. Excellent description of her acting skills. I agree with your last sentences…100%….RIP and not forgotten.

  3. Not all that familiar with Sylvia Miles, didn’t even know she had passed away until I saw your page. RIP.

Looking at the chart there are 8 films on there I’ve seen, favorites are – Wall Street, Farewell My Lovely, Evil Under the Sun and The Sentinel.

    Nice tribute Bruce. Vote Up!

    1. Hey Steve. I am right there with you on Sylvia Miles. When I first heard the news, I thought we were talking about Sarah Mills…..who is in a couple of my favorite movies…Ryan’s Daughter (she was the daughter) and Hope and Glory (good WW2 movie). After doing some quick research I realized I had the wrong actress..as Ms. Mills is alive and well. When I saw Ms. Miles was a two-time Oscar nominated actress…I figured the page would enlighten me on another thespian. Tally count….you 8, me 5 and Bob 4. Good feedback on the late Ms. Miles. Rest in peace.
