I’ve always found the chameleon like Tilda Swinton interesting. She can be quite androgynous at times or quite glamorous at others, Look at her as the blonde sister in Okja or amazingly playing Amy Schumer’s boss in Trainwreck (I couldn’t believe that was her).

Hey Dan….thanks for the information on Tilda Swinton….she is 60….but still kicking….lol. I have not been as impressed with her as much as you…..has she ever appeared in a role that she seemed warm and nice…..it seems it is always icy and cold. Got lots of 4 timers when looking at the Oracle list…..with Bill Murray my personal favorite. Looking at the second list…she has put together a nice collection of Oscar winning co-stars. That is more than I would have guessed….which is different than your thoughts on that subject. I assumed with so many overseas movies that it would be a lower total. As for her roles in Okja….I liked her more as the sister at the end than the one at the beginning….overall…I did not like that movie. Good stuff as always.
Tilda’s is a name that is always familiar to me but I could never place the movie(s) in which I’ve seen her. Scanning down the Work Horse’s tables above I see that I have watched her in just two films – Cruise’s Vanilla Sky and Gorgeous George’s Michael Clayton and her performance in that was brilliant in my view and WH’s mentioning her supporting actress Oscar for the movie in the tables above confirms my opinion.
Thanks Work Horse for placing for me at last my sighting of 2 Swinton movies. Isn’t it a great coincidence though that my previous post today dealt with your ‘betrayal’ of your great friend Joel and one of Tilda’s movies is Hail Caesar!? I’ve told you that if you look for them it’s not just Brando links that you will identify!
Overall IMDB credits Tilda with 70 acting awards and 162 noms; and according to Celebrity Net Worth site her net fortune currently sits at $10 million. Work Mare Tilda has currently a whopping 6 new projects in the pipeline She’s easily a match for that Work Stallion Cogerson! “Voted Up”.
Hey Bob….thanks for the thoughts on Tilda Swinton. Thanks for the tally count….2 for you and 32 for me….so I have you slightly beaten. Funny connections between Joel, Marlon, Tilda and betrayal. I just finished watching both seasons of Rome. I was amazed how much Mark Purefoy who played Mark Anthony and looked like a young Brando.
