Hey Dan. So the the Keiths have been in a movie together? I did not know that at all. Looks like Dale Dye is the winner of the most frequent Oracle co-star. Their four movies together, holds off about 10 different people with 3 movies. Somewhat surprised David and Caine have not made a movie together. The Oracle list is pretty massive. Looking at the second list…28 Oscar winning co-stars is pretty good. As always…thanks for sharing this information.
I always mix up Keith David’s name with David Keith and vice versa.
I’ve seen 34 of the 72 films on the chart. Lots of favorites including – Platoon, Armageddon, Always, Final Fantasy, Princess Mononoke, Hercules, Road House, Marked for Death, The Nice Guys, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, They Live and The Thing.
The last two on my list are John Carpenter fan favorites and I’d say big favorites for Keith David fans too. Especially memorable was the 10 minute fight sequence between Keith and Roddy Piper in They Live.

Hey Steve….thanks for the thoughts on Keith David. I like you got them mixed up until one day somebody told me David Keith was a relative of Brian Keith. I thought that was true, because those two look alike. Turns out that is not true at all…..but the connection stayed in my head. Tally count: 41 for me, 34 for you and 16 for bob cox….all have solid totals. We agree on lots of his best movies….The Thing and Platoon would be near the top of my personal rankings as well. Love that fight scene in They Live…I actually saw that one in theaters. Good stuff as always.
Hey bob cox…thanks for checking out our Keith David page. I have seen 41 of the movies listed. Interesting that you just watched Hercules yesterday….great minds thinking alike. Armageddon is a great popcorn movie….though critics hate it with a passion…hard to believe that it is now 22 years old. I was never impressed with Mr. and Mrs. Smith….I have seen it twice but probably none in the last 12 years. As for the ones at the bottom of your rankings…..I thought The Nice Guys was alright and The Quick and the Dead was entertaining. As for Hercules…I barely remember that one. Good feedback.
I saw 16 including 11 of top 13.(just watched Hercules yesterday). I am way off of the norm on these rankings. 10s and favorites: mr and mrs smith, always (hidden gem), Armageddon (david is not billed in top 12, can world wide people pay a billion dollars to be wrong). 9 and favorite there is something about mary. 9s not favorites: crash, platoon and the thing.8s: replacements, volcano, chronicles of Riddick (hidden gem).
I really hated nice guys and the quick and the dead both 1/10 and Hercules( anime and bad) 4
