  1. Bottom line though: overall Kris has to be considered a rip-roaring success despite falling short of his potential for big screen achievement because Celebrity net Worth site registers his net fortune today at $160 million.

He has had of course a parallel mega career as a singer-songwriter [see Bruce’s Fact 8 above]and a lot of his wealth has come from that source helped enormously by the fact that he has solely written most of his own songs. No need for an Al Kasha/Joel Hirschhorn songwriting team when Kris is about! I loved Kris’ “Me and Archie McGee” which is now regarded as an all time pop classis.

Busted flat in Baton Rouge, headin’ for the trains
Feelin’ nearly faded as my jeans
Archibald thumbed a diesel down just before it rained
And took us all away in Bruce’s dreams

I took my harpoon out of my dirty red bandanna
And was blowin’ sad while Archie sang the blues
With them windshield wipers slappin’ time and
Archie clappin’ hands we finally sang up every song
    That driver knew

Freedom’s just another word for nothin’ left to lose
Nothin’ left is all he left for me
Feelin’ good was easy, Lord, when Archie sang the blues
And buddy, that was good enough for me
Good enough for me and Archie, you see.
