Steve’s Paltrow video is highly satisfying for me to the tune of a 98.5% rating helped by the marvellous super hero posters and the glut of first- class stills. I have already watched it 3 times!

17/Hard Eight – my personal fave Paltrow film; not least because of a stunning central performance from normally supporting actor Philip Baker Hall.
Plus ALL Avenger and Iron Man posters and stills. It is difficult to split them and really no need to as every one is excellent – just a pity I don’t find the movies as interesting as Steve’s gallery!
1/Gwyn has been in a lot of high-grossing ensemble superhero franchises in the past 10 years but has cut absolutely no ice as a stand-alone artist at the box office. However over her entire career her contributions to entertainment have been multi-medium.
2/On top of her big screen career she has (1) been in 14 television productions between 1992 and the present (2) been in 3 musical videos 1996-2011 (3) been involved with 13 musical single recordings from 2000 until 2014 (4) released 12 musical albums over the years 1996-2015

Gwyneth Paltrow hit the jackpot when she accepted the part of Tony Stark’s personal assistant in the first Iron Man movie. Her role grew and grew, she eventually married Tony and became CEO of Stark Industries. She even got in on the action in Iron Man 3 and Avengers Endgame.
Bruce doesn’t like her but I’ve always had a soft spot for Paltrow, the irony is that Bruce has gone out of his way to watch nearly all her films while I’ve been a bit more choosy. 😉

Hey Dan. Thanks for sharing these trivia filled lists on Gwyneth Paltrow. I laughed out loud when I read…”I don’t recall the last time I ever saw her in a film for 5 minutes or longer.”. Since 2011 she only has made two non MCU movies….Thanks For Sharing and the dreadful Mordercai.
I am sure her involvement in the MCU movies is way she has a spot in the Oracle 1000. I was recently looking at our Avengers:Endgame UMR page…and saw she was the 22nd thespian to get an UMR page…..that is by far the most for a movie.
Lots of MCU people on both lists…not really surprising….but interesting for sure. 42 Oscar winning co-stars is really impressive…probably one of the most for an actress. As always…thanks for bringing so much good stuff to our UMR party.
hmmm I remember reading an article in which Gwyneth said Britain was rubbish or boring and was glad to be moving back to America. She’s adept at ruffling feathers.
I’ve seen 19 of the 44 films on the chart. Favorites are – all the Marvel movies, Austin Powers, Hook, Seven, Shakespeare in Love and The Royal Tenenbaums.
Btw some of these megahits feature Gwynnie in cameo roles, she has a few seconds of screen time at the start of Austin Powers and her part as young Wendy in Hook was small too as I recall.
I had a laugh recently when director Jon Favreau mentioned that she was in Spider-Man Homecoming, and she insisted he was mistaken. I don’t think she even watches these films or remembers being in them. 🙂

Hey Steve. Loved the You Tube video. I think it shows she is more involved in her other interests than in her acting career. She probably assumed since the scene was with Robert Downey, Jr. that it was an Avenger/Iron Man movie. Of your favorites…seen them all…I think The Royal Tenenbaums is my favorite Paltrow movie. It seems hard to say one of the MCU movies is a favorite….since her roles are generally pretty small. Tally count…..I have seen 31 of her movies to 19 for you and 16 for bob cox.
