Hey Dan. Thanks for the feedback on Martin Short. His movie career has not been as impressive as his television career….at least in my opinion. That is why I am not surprised he does not have a spot in the Oracle 1000. Looking at his most frequent Oracle co-stars…..I am not surprised that Steve Martin has that title….as he is one of Short’s best friends. They actually tour together….which is a show I would like to see….if it every comes close to my area. Looking at the second list….another pretty low total….at least compared to the other totals I have seen this morning. But…any list with Jack Nicholson is a good list to be on. Good stuff as always.
Well let’s hope Martin Short doesn’t pop his clogs now that you’ve posted a page on him…. I’m kidding! 😉
I’ve seen 17 of the 32 films on the chart. Favorites are – InnerSpace, Three Amigos, Mars Attacks, Madagascar 3, Treasure Planet, Prince of Egypt, Frankenweenie and The Spiderwick Chronicles.
It’s been ages since I watched Three Fugitives and Pure Luck, probably back in the early 90s. But I do remember enjoying them.

1. Lol…funny comment about Short and “doesn’t pop his clogs”…..I found it very disturbing that Charles Grodin passed away so soon after finally getting his UMR page.
2. Tally count…..17 for you….and 25 for me.
3. Your favorites….I have seen all of them…..Treasure Planet is my oldest daughter’s favorite animated movie. I would say InnerSpace is my favorite Short performance….though I did like him in Three Fugitives too.
4. Overall….I find his brand of humor ok…..but it is not my favorite by far.
5. Captain Ron is a guilty pleasure…but that is more for Kurt and Martin.
