I am a bit surprised though that with all the hype it has received over the years on this site Dire Hard has reached the top of the charts, dislodging Wonderful Life.

Academic. We tend to try to watch the film at christmas, just like Miracle on h street or It’s a Wonderful life. However unlike the other two I will also watch it if it happens to be on any other time too. Therefore to us it IS a christmas movie.
