    1. Hey bob cox. Thanks for the feedback on Mary Steenburgen.. I am right there with you on the greatness of Parenthood. I am right there with you on Philadelphia. I good movie…but has no re-watchablity (in my eyes). Good point on the wide variety of actors she has worked with. Her first movie was with the great Jack Nicholson…who personally picked her for her role in Goin’ South…which is underrated by most….but not by us. Good feedback.

  2. Hey Steve. Thanks for the thoughts on Mary Steenburgen. Good catch on the Oscar issue with Melvin and Howard. I have since fixed that issue. I am right there with you on Time After Time. A great movie that gets rewatched often in my house. It is Mary’s ex’s most likable role. Back to the Future seems to get a bad rap…but I like it too. Thanks for the tally count and the visit. Good stuff as always.

  3. One of my favorite Mary Steenburgen films is ‘Time After Time’ – HG Wells (played by Malcolm McDowall) chasing after Jack the Ripper (David Warner) via his time machine, great fun, great actors and a great music score by Miklos Rozsa.

The other big favorite is another time travel story – Back to the Future III.

I’ve seen 9 of the 58 films on the chart, not an impressive tally.

Bruce you don’t mention which film she won her Oscar for so I had to do some digging… it was for Melvin and Howard (1980). I haven’t seen it.

    Good stuff! Vote Up!
