Finding box office information for movies made before 1980 is not an easy task.   For somebody looking for box office information on 1973 it is very very frustrating.  Over the years, we have researched and collected information on over 36,000 movies.  So we figured we would show all the 1973 movies in our database.

  1. Love the site, but why isn’t Enter the Dragon’s box office info entered? We know it was highly successful. BoxOfficeMojo is inaccurate which isn’t uncommon. The info isn’t consistent across the board, but it definitely didn’t make less than a million as the table suggests.

  2. THE NELSON AFFAIR is listed on the 1973 chart twice, as #96 and as #118, with two different grosses. The film played in the U.S. only under the title THE NELSON AFFAIR. In the U.K., it was titled BEQUEST TO THE NATION.
